A Statement on Common Standards for Monitoring Protected Sites 2022 (version 2.1) 2022

Abstract

One of the special functions of the country nature conservation bodies is the establishment of common standards throughout Great Britain for the monitoring of nature conservation. This Common Standards Monitoring Statement describes the basic standards which relate to the monitoring required on statutory sites.

A revised version (version 2) of the Statement was published in 2019, to supersede the original version of the Statement, published in 1998. Version 2 was updated to Version 2.1 in 2022 to incorporate a few amendments.
