Soft commodity production impacts on the natural environment in Overseas Development Assistance eligible countries 2023

Abstract

This report was undertaken to develop a methodology to assess subnational commodity production environmental impacts in Official Development Assistance (ODA) eligible countries, with a focus on linking this to UK commodity consumption.

This work follows on from previous research investigating international links to UK consumption on a country-to-country level and develops a framework which can be used to find what subnational resolution data are available to investigate trade links, commodity production and related environmental impacts.
