Common Standards Monitoring Guidance for Mammals (Terrestrial) 2004

Abstract

This guidance deals with Common Standards Monitoring (CSM) for mammals other than marine species on designated sites, including SSSIs, ASSIs and Special Areas of Conservation (SACs). It provides guidance on the identification of attributes and targets for mammals where these are notified or qualifying interest features with specific guidance for otters and water voles and for bats, including maternity colonies and hibernating populations.
