Blackstone Bank and Stanton Banks Habitat Mapping 2009

Abstract

Marine surveys were carried out in two areas, Stanton Banks and the Blackstone Bank area, between June 2004 and February 2004, to collect a number of different datasets.

Video footage from both sites was of excellent quality due to visibility, which allowed further processing of the footage, in terms of detailed substrate and conspicuous species descriptions for each tow. A total of 53 stills images were successfully captures over three tows in Stanton Banks, and 23 stills images were captured at Blackstone Bank.
