An Inventory of UK estuaries. Volume 1: Introduction and methodology 1997

Abstract

The 'inventory of UK estuaries' series is a seven-volume series which describes the estuaries of the UK, providing information on their size, location, wildlife, national importance and conservation status, using graphs, tables, text and maps.

Volume 1 of the series, the introductory volume, details the rationale, methods and definitions used in the inventory. It is strongly recommended that the relevant parts of this volume are consulted before making detailed interpretation of the site reports.

Please note this volume has been produced from a scan of an original document, and is therefore a large file size. There may also be fluctuations in quality.
