QGIS Suitability Assessment (revised April 2016) 2016

Abstract

The specific aims of this work were to review a list of functionality considered to be essential, desirable or possibly required in the future, to determine whether it can be met by QGIS, and consider any changes to JNCC’s desktop and network infrastructure required as part of a proposed move to QGIS use, along with estimates of cost.

This is a revised version, incorporating a number of amendments, and supersedes the previous version of JNCC Report No. 542, published in November 2014.
