Common Standards Monitoring Guidance for Terrestrial and Freshwater Invertebrates 2008

Abstract

The guidance given here deals with common standards monitoring (CSM) for those designated sites, including SSSIs and SACs, that specifically identify invertebrates as a site feature. This provides guidance on the identification of interest features, attributes, targets and methods of assessment.

This is the guidance for terrestrial and freshwater invertebrates – the guidance for freshwater pearl mussel and white-clawed crayfish is included in the guidance for freshwater fauna.
