Abstract

JNCC is working together with Animal Plant Health Agency, Welsh Government and Forestry and Land Scotland on two projects to scope the use of Earth Observation, including Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 analysis-ready data, for environmental applications across a range of policy and operational business areas. A webinar was held on 22 September 2020 to provide an introductory tour of the technology and the environmental applications that are already known. The webinar also included a look at the operational use of remote sensing in Natural Resources Wales. These projects were funded by the Caroline Herschel Framework Partnership Agreement for Copernicus User Uptake.
