Herpetofauna Workers' Manual (revised reprint) 2003

Abstract

The Herpetofauna Workers' Manual offers practical advice to workers involved in the conservation and management of amphibians and reptiles.

It primarily covers the 12 non-marine species of amphibian and reptile that are widely recognised as being native to the UK. While there is reference to non-natives, issues that are specifically relevant to them have not been addressed.

Note that the manual provided a good overview at the time of writing, but due to the age of the document, some elements may now be out of date.
