This work has been produced as part of the Nature Conservancy Council's Seabirds at Sea project.

The guide provides a species by species guide to the birds of the two Hebridean islands of North Rona and Sula Sgeir, along with a discussion of the importance of the surrounding sea, and a brief history of human occupation.
