Assessing the Management Effectiveness of three sites in the Maldives: Stakeholder Survey Results 2022

Abstract

In 2021/2022, the Ocean Country Partnership Programme (OCPP) collaborated with the Government of the Maldives to undertake a pilot study into the management effectiveness of three different types of sites in Maldivian waters.

To support the aim of completing Protected Area Management Effectiveness assessment on three marine sites, virtual stakeholder surveys were produced to ensure that the assessments reflect a wide range of views on management and provide impartial results. This report details the process and outputs of these surveys.
