An atlas of seabird distribution in north-west European waters 1995

Abstract

The atlas describes the seasonal distribution of a number of seabirds in the seas around north-west Europe, including Britain. It includes numerous distribution maps, graphs and tables.

Data were collected from 1979 to 1994 and have been used to describe the seasonal distribution and abundance of over 50 species of seabird, including gulls, terns, sea ducks, skuas and divers. These are supplemented with detailed summaries of the methods used for the collection, processing and interpretation of the data.

Note, when this publication was first produced, the seabird accounts were provided as individual downloads. Copies of these individual species accounts can be found in The National Archives.

This volume has been produced from a scan of an original document. You may therefore experience fluctuations in quality.
