This workshop considered current assessment approaches, both in the UK and abroad, with the aim of developing a more co-ordinated UK assessment approach. The ultimate aim was to identify an agreed best practice Displacement Assessment Framework (DAF) or at least the key components that might feed into such an approach. Involving 35 participants from eight European countries, the workshop comprised a series of short presentations (providing background evidence/methods to inform later discussions), group discussion work and plenary sessions. Participants were tasked with answering a number of questions relating to the evidence underpinning, processes required, and methods feeding into a future DAF.
