Abstract

For the further development of the UK’s Natura 2000 network, a network of nature protection areas established under the EU Birds and Habitats Directive, identifying discrete and persistent areas of relatively high harbour porpoise (Phocoena phocoena) density was required for the UK marine area, out to the 200 nautical mile limit.
