Surveillance Framework (The UK Terrestrial Biodiversity Surveillance Strategy) 2009

Abstract

This document forms an important part of JNCC’s UK Terrestrial Biodiversity Surveillance Strategy produced in 2009. Whilst the strategy has now been superseded and this analysis is no longer up-to-date, it may still be useful to refer to.

An important part of the strategy was an analysis of surveillance requirements; current coverage, gaps and overlaps; and recommendations for the future development of surveillance. The Surveillance Framework contained an analysis of surveillance in relation to each of the three surveillance objectives from the 2009 strategy.

Please note, this resource accompanies a series of other resources which together constitute the UK Terrestrial Biodiversity Surveillance and Monitoring Strategy 2009.
